About 4 months ago, I was trying to fluff up my grandmother Jessie Ada Henderson Paylor’s page because all I had were really just a lot of facts, and it really didn’t tell you about her as a person. In the process of trying to fill out her biography more completely, I realized I need to know more about her parents, Iva Donn Henderson and Odessa C. Tussing Henderson. It was fascinating. As I discovered more about Odessa, then I realized that her father, B.F. was a pretty big deal, first in Odessa, Kearney, Nebraska, then later coming to what was then Zeller’s Crossing in Idaho. It was not even Fruitland when B.F. put his foot down and spent the winter of 1904 in what is currently Fruitland, before permanently moving in 1905.
